Independent Medical Education Grant Request
Horizon is committed to supporting the advancement of health care professionals' scientific and medical understanding of our therapeutic areas of interest. Horizon may support educational interventions that are designated for continuing education credit as well as independent medical education (IME) activities that are not designated for credit as long as programs are well-balanced, scientifically grounded, free from commercial bias and provided to health care professionals to address unmet educational needs.
Activities should be aimed at improving patient care and must be compliant with all applicable legal and regulatory guidelines. Educational grants are considered financial awards for clinical, scientific and disease state educational programs that provide meaningful education to health care professionals in our areas of interest, without tangible benefit in return.
